Product damage policy:

Before being shipped, each of our items undergoes a rigorous quality check. It is possible, nonetheless, for a product to be harmed in transit. You could return the qualifying items using the orders page if you received a broken, defective, or incorrect item. (Please Note : This Service Option is applicable only for the customer located in Chennai.)

Return Policy:

Mobile phones are guaranteed against material and workmanship defects for the duration specified by the individual manufacturers. The Smart Deal does not offer any guarantee on the offered products and does not provide one either. Smart Deal disclaims all liability for any products that are flawed, inadequate, or otherwise subpar. Once the order is placed, neither an exchange nor a refund will be accepted. The Smart Deal won’t be held responsible for shipping delays or lost orders.

Terms for return:

  • Depending on the type and category of the product, the return process may be limited.
  • Within 48 hours of delivery, kindly let us know if you receive a damaged or defective product.
  • Products must be returned with all of their original price tags, labels, and invoices and in their original packaging.
  • The return packages should be securely and firmly wrapped to prevent further product damage in transit.
  • Only items we receive within 10 working days after delivery will be eligible for return policies.
  • Once the order is placed, neither an exchange nor a refund will be accepted. The payment will only be refunded if the product is out of stock or not sent.

The goods must be returned in the equal condition as you received them. Please be aware that there are some situations where we cannot accept returns, such as:

  • Damages resulting from product misuse
  • Accidental harm brought on by a product’s malfunction
  • Any consumable that has been inserted or utilized
  • Product serial numbers that have been changed or detached
  • Any blemish or flaw not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty
  • Any product that is returned without the box, manufacturer’s packaging, and all other original packagings

Smart Deal reserves the authority to determine whether the returned item is defective or damaged. Depending on the verification, it will either reship the item to the customer or replace it.

Subject to available product stock, Smart Deal will replace any defective or damaged products and reship them to the original customer’s delivery address.

The customer will be notified, and the same goods will be reshipped to the order’s shipping address if the returned item is not defective or damaged.

The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for the replaced or reshipped item.

If there is no product stock available, a refund request will be made, and the consumer will be notified via registered email.

Before returning to us, you should make sure to remove all personal information from any electronic device that saves personal information. The Smart Deal won’t be held responsible for any improper use or exploitation of this information.

You might occasionally receive a product that is flawed, damaged, or otherwise different from what you ordered due to reasons beyond our control.

If the services do not fulfil you, we will replace the product at no additional charge. In these situations, please contact our customer service team before utilizing the device so they can advise you on the procedure.

What should you do if a product is incorrect, damaged, or defective?

You can return or swap the item if you are unhappy with its quality. Any object that is suitable for return and whose return window has not passed should be returned. The availability of the products will determine whether they be replaced or exchanged. There are several return and replacement procedures for products fulfilled by third parties and by Smart deal. How can return a broken or incorrect item?

Visit the Returns Support Center and do as instructed. We will organise a pick up for the package if our courier partners serve your address. You will need to return the goods using any courier if our courier partners do not provide service to your address.

Please be aware that the return package will be picked up at the scheduled time and date for pickup, which will be announced through email or SMS.

It will take three company days for the refund to be applied to the original payment method after the shipment is delivered to our fulfilment centre. Usually, packages can take up to 10 days to get to the fulfilment facility.

  • Access your orders.
  • Decide the thing you want to return.
  • Select items and click Return/Replace.
  • Pick the item from the presented list of products.
  • Decide why you want to replace it.
  • Continue and carry out the directive.

What should one do if newly purchased goods are damaged?

You could start a refund or replacement if you received a damaged renewal product through the orders tab. You must share pictures of the goods you received from all sides. Make sure the merchandise is at least 8 inches from the camera when taking the photos. Make sure to include the invoice information along with the photographs.

Note:

  • Some products are not returnable. For extra information, notice the Returns policy.
  • If you are returning a mobile phone, camera, or any other storage device, remember to delete any passwords and any personal data that may be present.
  • Only send personal accessories purchased initially with the equipment, including cases or external memory cards.

The smart deal will pay merchants in advance in the following circumstances:

  • The smart deal will compensate sellers proactively within 50 days of the refund date for customer return shipments that have yet to be delivered to them even after 30 days have passed after the refund date.
  • Suppose the original orders for orders with replacement or exchange requests are not returned to sellers within 30 days of the replacement or exchange order’s ship date. In that case, the Smart deal will provide prompt damages within 50 days of the date the replacement or exchange order was shipped.
  • The smart deal will proactively reimburse within 50 days of the refund date for orders flagged by the Smart deal logistics service provider as damaged and damaged-disposed-off when the fault is not the sellers.
